ABOUT DANCE AT MOROLES
The dance program at Jesús Moroles Expressive Vanguard is proud to offer students a comprehensive education in a variety of dance genres, including ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. The dance program at Jesús Moroles encompasses a wide variety of students from kindergarten to eighth grade, with students beginning to hone in on the finer details of dance as a performance art upon their entrance to the fourth grade. However, Moroles students do not simply focus on dance from the perspective of a performer; all students are encouraged to explore the art of choreography and dance creation, as well as to practice analyzing dance at a deep level. Above all, students are encouraged to consider dance from a humanistic perspective, with students learning not only about how dance can affect their own lives, but how they may use dance to affect the lives of others.
